Recent media reports have pointed to mounting economic headwinds in the mining sector and especially among goldminers. These reports are underscored by the recent appointment of administrators to gold producer Gascoyne Resources.
According to Rob Rose, executive chairman of Water Purified, there is no better market to accelerate the development of a business servicing the mining sector. “If we can build our business in the current environment, we will be well and truly set for the better times that lie ahead’.
‘While we have only been in water treatment for 3 years, we have an experience team with a passionate commitment to build a business that empowers miners to focus on the main game while we address their water requirements. The tougher the environment, the more important this is’ Mr Rose said.
Water Purified recently won yet another major project, this time for one of Australian’s leading gold miners.
The project involves upgrading existing piping manifolds and pumps for the RO plant, fabricating and installation of supporting structure for upgraded pipework and manifolds, re-commissioning of upgraded pumps and piping to ensure full operation of RO plant and servicing of RO Plant on site, including chemicals, and maintenance for next 3 years.
‘This follows on the heals of a number of smaller wins in a range of industries, and for businesses right across the state. We seem to be on a roll!’ Mr Rose said
‘Our focus on taking the uncertainty out of water and waste-water treatment is proving appealing to clients, who just want to focus on core business.’
There is no doubt the market is budget conscious, but we are finding they are far more value conscious – wanting to know that we have the people, technology and approach that means that they never have to think about water or waste-water treatment.’ Mr Rose said
